Originally, the company was a producer of industrial centrifuges targetted at industrial processes in the South American market. The attention to meeting customer needs caused the Company to expand its range to include high speed disc stack centrifuges, industrial driers, DAF Flotation units and a plethora of custom made products to keep their customers satisfied.As the business has grown the production methods have changed from primarily engineering led production to highly automated CNC controlled manufacturing methods, employing batch production and quality control that matches anything that can be found in the factories of the largest centrifuge manufacturers in Europe. The company is accredited to ISO9001:2008 by DNV making Gratt the largest manufacturer outside Western Europe to have a European audited quality control system.
